Letters to Catherine E. Beecher in Reply to an Essay on Slavery and Abolitionism by Angelina Emily Grimké ( - 0).
This is a collection of thirteen letters from Angelina Grimké on the subjects of abolitionism and human rights in the United States. ( )
- Text source (only read from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/53852
- Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard
IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

MW coming up.
edit: I would suggest not putting the title all in caps even though it is that way on the book cover. It can be changed on the Project Screen anytime before cataloging. Also I would suggest using the full title only in the first intro and in the book ending statement. Elsewhere it could be just "Letters to Catherine Beecher" or something similar. Should we advertise for a DPL?

I would be glad to join as DPL, unless you have someone else in mind.
A agree about not using all caps.
You can just copy from the first page of the text.
I'll stand by.

I definitely agree on the all-caps thing too. I wasn't thinking about it when I copied things into the project template, but I will edit that as soon as I get going with the sections.
thank you both!

I've got four letters recorded and one all edited for PL.... but the uploader is giving me issues for some reason ("Error: Empty file upload result" ??). hopefully I can restart the browser and get it to cooperate eventually.

Aha! It is picky about those things.
Anyway, I'm happy to report your first section as PL OK!
