Brave Men and Women: Their Struggles, Failures, And Triumphs by Osgood E. Fuller (1835 - 1900).

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/brave-men-and-women-their-struggles-failures-and-triumphs-by-osgood-e-fuller/
Brave Men and Women is a collection of stories about historical figures who, through success and failure, made an impact on their world. As noted in the Preface, the author's aim "has simply been to form a sort of mosaic or variegated picture of the Brave Life - the life which recognizes the Divine Goodness in all things, striving through good report and evil report, and in manifold ways, which one is often unqualified to judge, to attain to the life of Him who is 'the light of the world'." ( Kristin Hand)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://gutenberg.org/ebooks/13942
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hello Kristin,
I did just listen to chapter 1.
Your voice is quite melodic to listen to though I do have edits for you.
-15:48 please remove the clack sound.
-the end silence needs 1 1/2 seconds cut which will work well as there are 2 small clicks at the very end.

Thank you,
April
