Finally, chapter 27 is ready! I'm hoping that this means I'm out of my slump.

But I'm not as confident in my ability to do Malcolm-speaking-English-but-still-sounding-Scotch as I was. I'll try it on the next chapter, and if I succeed there, I don't think I can fail anywhere, because he's pretty talkative in this next one. Otherwise, I'll just keep on as I was before.

Yay - good to hear your voice again! PL OK.

Even if you don't end up settling into a new accent, the old way makes good listening. Either way will be great!

Ok, Hannah, here's my first installment of my Scotch-lite Malcolm voice. You also get my attempt at London Lenorme!

Chapter 28 is ready for PL!

Success!! The distinct accents made the conversation so understandable and interesting! Great work!

And PL OK.

Oh, I just remembered... I had to turn it up while listening... maybe somewhere around 2/3 of the way through? But since I am listening outdoors while painting a potted begonia, maybe it was due to a change in the breeze volume? I guess you could just peek at the waveform, and if you don't see it all grow softer for the last part, ignore this comment. :D

Sorry I got bogged down here again! I was hoping to have this done by the end of the year, but I've been pushing it to the back burner again while I focus on group projects. My plan from here is to prioritize editing for my current (10-act!) play, by which time I expect that my DR will be just about ready to edit. Actually, I think one or two sections are already. And then, no more DRs for me for awhile... I think.

I have been shamefully behindhand in this.

But I am getting to work on replacing certain lines with a new accent.

Ch. 9 time stamps edited:

9:05-9:08

10:08-10:12
10:22-10:23
10:25-10:27
10:58-11:01

More to come.

So good to be back to this! All the updates sound good. The only thing is to update the durations in the MW, which I will do now!

I didn't even realize the durations had changed. I guess it makes sense that I may not be speaking these lines at the same speed I did the first time.

Also, in case you didn't notice, I have a new MacDonald dramatic poem in my signature line. The female lead is still open. I'm not sure if you're really ready to be back to recording just yet, but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for letting me know! But as I am having troubles finding time available when there is also not extra noise (such as bathroom remodel today when I had hoped to record), I'd better pass.
