Thank you, Barbara!

But not too hard, I hope!

Hi DaveC and Barbara,

I had to re-upload Section 2 because of a misspelling in the file name.

My best,

Pam

PL OK. All the time I was reading about the food supply becoming insufficient I was thinking - but what about superphosphates (those brought from Chile and the later synthetic ones?) And trade with the British colonies? The grain ships that made their way round Cape Horn from Australia? What about the produce of the Canadian prairies? Mill was revising his work till 1871 so I guess he discounted their growing importance?

But what do I know :D What do you think?

Best,

Barbara

Hi DaveC,

I had to upload the same file for Section 5 due to a computer glitch.

Both safely arrived. The second copy merely replaced the first one.
