I'm not sure what that says about your expectations! Stranger things are to come, believe me--

Thanks for listening,

Kevin, I've fixed the link to section 5 (sorry about that!) and uploaded cases 11 - 17 (sections 13 - 19). That takes us to the end of part I (1793 - 1838) and gets us to part II, cases leading up to the start of the Civil War. I'll start on those later this week.

Thanks for listening,

Joanne

Kevin, sections 20 -29 (cases 18-27) are posted for your PL. Let me know if my reading in section 22 (let's just call it the pistol incident  ) should be scaled back a bit.

I'll be disappointed if there isn't gun fire heard.

I am so sorry, Kevin. The actual section 22 is now up. I promise to be more careful--

Don't worry about me. When working with a lot of sections, it can get confusing.

Kevin, cases 34-44 (sections 36-46) are ready for you. I've got 3 Civil War cases left to record, then on to Reconstruction. One central theme of the Civil War cases seems to be how the Senate grappled with the whole notion of secession--was it even possible and, if so, what did that mean for the status of senators from the seceding states. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Senate deals with readmission, and there's a hint or two of that in these cases.

Thanks for listening,

Joanne
