Great, thanks!

I'll give you access to the Magic Window, so you can change the status of the section as you listen to it.

Detailed Instructions for accessing the Magic Window can be found in the document linked here:
Instructions for BCs and DPLs

When you listen to a chapter, you'll change the status to either "See PL Notes" and post your notes in the thread, or change it to "PL OK" which means it's A-OK!

Can you please be more specific on which section(s) you're referring to? I see no notes in the Magic Window, so these comments seem to be coming out of the blue. :)

(And FYI, please don't comment on style elements unless the reader asks you to do so.)

The two posters who volunteered to help PL haven't posted since, and I received a PM that someone is willing to DPL. So I'm putting in mleigh as DPL. Thanks for volunteering!

I am downloading Genesis so I'll get those started for you. After that, I'll do my best to keep up with your recording.

I have finished listening to the first recording. It was a truly excellent recording. I have one question for you however.

The instructions say:

"[Book name], Chapters [numbers] of The Holy Bible. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"

You, however, just listed chapter 1. I, personally, have no issue with this if all sections are consistent. Is there any requirement for all the chapters to be identified, or is it sufficient to have them in the title on the web page?

I'd appreciate some input on this before I mark the recording as PL Okay, or in need of one minor correction.

Thanks,

M

It's up to the soloist, but it's better (IMHO) to have it in the audio. Someone paging through the files on their player, not looking at the screen for the section title (or if they're blind) should be able to hear the contents of the file straight off the top.

And the file intros should be consistent.

I did a very quick listen of the first couple seconds of sections 1-3. Section 2 seemed to be okay for this (following the intro wording). Section 3 didn't have the LV intro at all, but just started "Chapter 26" then into the text :?:

Hi, ladies!

I just got back home this evening. Been out of state for the past week and didn't have access to internet.
I'll recheck my "Master" copies and make sure they have the correct intro. If any are missing that, I'll tack
it on the head and re-upload. Thanks for your vigilance!
