The last two sections of Deuteronomy are both stellar PL OKs.
The Pentateuch is now complete and I am off to listen to Joshua in the near future.

Looks like I've been delinquent here.
Finished listening to Joshua.
section 21:
~20:20 you have "Jehovah" instead of "Joshua" in "cause why Joshua did circumcise"
section 22:
You have the word "Philistines" pronounced differently at ~0:37 and ~0:49. The first is with a long i and the second with an a/e sound.
You can either change or not. I think I only noticed the pronunciation because the two occurrences were so close together and I had just been looking up the pronunciation of the word so I wouldn't mispronounce it.
Other than those two minor issues, great reading - although how you managed to get through those lists of cities without getting any errors, I have no idea.
Thanks,
M

Thank you. I know how much effort goes into PLing something of this size. Don't know how I missed the "Joshua" misreading while doing my own PL. During recording, I had problems "seeing" the correct name when Joshua and Jehovah were close together......just some peculiarity in my brain, I guess.

Anyway, the corrected files are uploaded and ready.

Both sections of Joshua are PL OK.
I don't know how you can deal with all those names. I think trying to pronounce them all would drive me crazy.
Thanks,
M

Thank you! In my other, pre-retirement life, I worked in DC at the US Information Agency. In addition to my regular duties, I also voiced a few thousand news stories. My "forte", if you will, was the correct pronouncing of middle-eastern and east-european proper names. I thought it was fun. Some Biblical names, tho, can be real tongue-twisters to a westerner.

Three fine recordings for 1 Samuel.
Sections 26 and 28 are PL OK
Section 27 has one little issues that needs for be corrected to make it PL OK. There is approximately 38 seconds (mostly silence) after the "end of chapter..." at around 1:06:31. Please delete all but about 5 seconds.
Thanks,
M
