Hi Warren,

I apologize for the confusion, I should have caught it earlier
You head post tells to start each section with "Chapter #"
You say "Story #", I don't think this is a problem.
The problem starts when you say "Story 2", it's in fact story 1, part 2, and when you say "Story 3", it's in fact story 2.
Confusing, isn't it?
There are two possible solutions:
1. Stitch sections 1 and 2 back together, as you planned originally.
2. Rerecord the intros / outros to say "story #, part #" / "end of part # , story [name]". Optionally you could add something like "to be continued" to the end of the 1st section.

The last story is really long and will have to be cut anyway, so maybe the 2nd solution is the way to go?
Almost forgot -- otherwise sec.3 is PL OK

Hi Mark,

Good points all around. I will take a look and will likely re-record the intros and outros.

Hi Mark,

I decided to dispense with the story numbers. The Intros will contain section numbers that will correspond with the section numbers in the MW. So the intros/outros will look something like this.

Section 1 of South Sea Tales by Jack London
[LV disclaimer]
South Sea Tales by Jack London, The House of Mapuhi, part 1
outro: End of part 1 of The House of Mapuhi

Section 2 of South Sea Tales by Jack London
[LV disclaimer]
The House of Mapuhi, part 2
outro: End of The House of Mapuhi

Section 3 of South Sea Tales by Jack London
[LV disclaimer]
The Whale Tooth
outro: End of The Whale Tooth

Let me know if this looks reasonable or if you prefer something different.

Thanks,

Warren

It looks fine to me, Warren. I did something similar for the last collection of short stories I read. :)

Hi Mark,

It looks like my intro/outro edits won’t be ready until the coming weekend. Other stuff took up my time this weekend.

Cheers,

Hi Mark,

Please spot PL sections 1-3 for the revised intro / outros. Section 4 is a new addition that requires a full PL.

Many thanks,

Thanks for the PL, Mark. Jack London is such a wonderful writer. Vivid stories with incredible detail. I can see why you loved reading his stories when you were a kid.

Hi Mark,

I broke the next story, The Heathen, into two parts of roughly 27 minutes each. I found this to be a very touching story, especially the 2nd part. I hope that you enjoy it.

Stay safe,
