They've arrived, and it's a forbidding place. Now what?

Just for fun, here's the map of Trindade Island (not Trinidad) from the book:

Perhaps it will make Knight's description more clear...

Sections 5, 6 and 7 - all PL OK!

Finally properly underway! A pity he does not describe the places they visit more, only says he has done so in another book.... Great story anyway! Great reading - as always!

Wait 'til he describes Trindade Island. It's a spooky place.

I have that "other book," by the way. It might be fun to do, too.

In the picture the island looks really beautiful... not much there though, mostly rocks. And I suppose it looks beautiful only while sun shines and all is calm. In all other cases might be spooky indeed.

As to the other book, where all the descriptions are... I was kind of hoping you'd consider that after this one... 8-)

13 also PL OK!!!

No, not bored at all!!! This is a good book, just as I like (one of my favourites is, for example, "South" by Shackleton).

Burning of the island was a plot twist indeed. :D He did not sound much upset by it either. :D
