Your United States; Impressions Of A First Visit by Arnold Bennett (1867 - 1931).

Enoch Arnold Bennett (1867 – 1931) was an English writer. He is best known as a novelist, but he also worked in other fields such as journalism, propaganda and film. In 1911 Bennett paid a financially rewarding visit to the US, which he later recorded in his 1912 book Those United States in England; titled Your United States in America. • Text source (only read from this text!): www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/15063
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

MW coming up.

edit: I increased the number of sections to 8 (from 7) as there are 8 chapters. Easy to delete if not needed. Let me know if any changes are needed.

Thanks for catching that. I suppose my miscounting of the number of chapters can be laid to my mild dyslexia and my life-long discomfort with Roman numerals. Thanks again.

Edit: btw perhaps it would be a good idea to add the English title, Those United States, to the keywords?

Roman numerals have caused many problems at LV. And I did add the other title to the key words list. Good idea.
