Congratulations, Joshua and Yuqing, and thank you and, of course, Messrs. Rolland and Cannan for the pleasure!
All sections and the entire volume are resounding PL OK! :9:
Looking forward to further projects!

Oh my! Are we really done?! Thank you a thousand times over. It's been an honor to do this knowing that I had such a discerning and appreciative audience.

BTW, I did a bit of research on the continuation of JC's story by comparing the original French with another bit of English translation entitled "Jean Christophe: In Paris," also translated by Gilbert Cannan (https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/8149/pg8149.html). What's a shame, however, is that he appears to have skipped over a delightful little interlude appearing in the French, entitled "DIALOGUE DE L'AUTEUR AVEC SON OMBRE" and is a brief conversation between Rolland and his creation, Jean Christophe. This appears a little over half way through https://www.gutenberg.org/files/61876/61876-h/61876-h.htm, and is immediately followed by the French equivalent of "Jean Christophe: In Paris." However, in order to get the entire story in French, one must go on to Jean Christophe Vol. III at https://www.gutenberg.org/files/61970/61970-h/61970-h.htm. And there is, apparently, a Vol IV, as well. I haven't compared Cannan's later translation to these to know how much of them he included, but that's a nice bit of sleuthing for someone else to pursue, no?

Indeed! I'm sure there will be someone interested.

Once again, good job, everyone!

Thanks, MaryAnn, for MCing this project. I just saw the cover art. I think it's great. Can you tell me where it came from or who designed it?

Joshua,
Do "Download CD case insert" -- on the 2nd page you would see, among other good stuff, "Cover picture based on 1915 cover"
It's a pity that probably nobody burns CDs anymore, LV covers are often quite exquisite!

This is so very true, even apart from the bits of linguistic knowledge info I wouldn't have gotten elsewhere without much hard-core studying
Thank y'all so much again!
Cheers,
