Larry, I'm sorry about long delays between chapters, but chapter 5 is now ready for PL. I don't know if this is normal but I've been editing out almost all of my breaths. This takes a little longer but I like the result better. I appologize that my voice gives out at time, and occassionally I record over this spots. My back is still slowing me down, but I hope to get this issue behind me and pick up the pace.

Thanks for all you do for this project! :D

Nothing at all to apologize for! This is your solo and you set your own pace. I am listening to some that are going much slower. I'm just the DPL

Editing always takes longer than the recording, and your patches are fine. In general I don't advise editing out breath sounds unless they are excessive. Breathing is a normal part of reading and usually sounds natural. But, what you are doing sounds just fine, so if this is what sounds best to you, go ahead. I pray your back continues to improve.

I just had a catastrophic hard disc failure and I'm awaiting a new machine, borrowing one for the moment. Remains to be seen if I can restore my lost data. Also very busy with my day job (actually a night job) and putting in some overtime. Wind storms knocked out our power for a few days this month, but next week grabbing a few days away with the family to a campground.

Blessings,
Larry

Oh, Section 5 is PL OK!

Larry,

I'm sorry that it has been over a month with out communication. I have been delayed in my work by travel and illness. I spent time today with an original reading and recording of chapter 7. I now need to edit it, but it may be at least two weeks before I complete that process and post a new recording.

Thanks for your patience.

Paul

Thanks for the update, Paul. Remember that a solo moves at the pace of the soloist, so no need to feel apologetic. All that's required is to post an update occasionally, and you're doing that.

I'm still struggling through chapter 7. I think this project is taking on the dimension of years. I hope you are well. Thanks for all you do for me.

Not to worry! Check in when you can.
This is NOT the slowest solo I am DPL for. Probably including the one I started a while back and got stalled. My problem is I get to wrapped up in group projects to work on solos.

Take care of you health and have a blessed Advent season!

I'm still working on Chapter 7. It's a longer chapter, and I'm finding many mistakes. I don't know why. Please be patient.

Great!
I will listen to it as soon as I can.
It's been a rough week and I'm a bit behind on things.
I'm actually going to take a day off this week just to chill a bit.

This just needs "End of Chapter 7" for the closing.
Otherwise, PL OK.
