It is a prime example of the propaganda that swept through the United States at the beginning of the Indian wars of the south west.

The killing of the General under a flag of truce has to be a reference to the killing of Lt. Boscom and his men. It was Boscom that hanged the brother and two cousins of Cochise while under a flag of truce. Cochise of course exacted his revenge.

It might be a good idea to put a "listener beware" warning in the blurb... along the lines of reflecting the views of the time and it being against LV policy to censor.
