13 PL OK!

There is one minor issue. The chapter title is "To Iris" not "Iris." Not sure it's worth correcting but felt I should let you know. Got my first vaccination shot last week!

Very nice! I hope both bring little suffering!

So, I decided to add the missing word to chapter 13:

And then here is chapter 14, at 16 minutes and 58 seconds:

Volume is low (83.4dB). A waveform spike is preventing amplification. The compressor function (effect/compressor) can remove spikes so the file can be amplified (by 5-6dB). The following link shows how to use the compressor function.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJ3lOTDsN6c

I will be offline until this evening in case the link doesn't work. Other than low volume though the file is pl ok.

edit: I had to use compressor twice to get the volume above 86dB (i.e. compress..amplify..compress..amplify).

Poopycakes! I actually did use the conversion technique, so I did a little fiddling and tried it again, same time increment:

Oh good! Nice to hear you had to repeat things too in that way.

And thank you very much for the link. I had to hit it and view a bit regardless. Watching Good O'l Phil explaining the technical bits to us, in his robe, always brings me into alignment with a sense of order in the universe. :9:

Sheesh! Tornado and you express "great weather"? Good to hear for the sake we care a great deal about all our welfare even with these kind of scary things! (YIKES!)

Anyway!!!

Chapter 18, with 20 minutes and 18 seconds...

LV helps me to 1) read books and 2) keep living, yay!

thanks, Dave! Take care!

Compared to the fires you have and the floods everywhere else, an occasional EF1 or 2 tornado seems like a minor issue. It scared the tourists downtown though when the tornado sirens went off recently.

Aw man, yeah... We all do seem acclimated to the disasters in our area sometimes. (((knock on wood))) Keep awaiting an earthquake to couple with a fire. [Not hoping!] Still, here's to you still doing well, Dave. We're pretty good out here. A little weird being so separated so we have no flu or colds, but I am not complaining!

Chapter 19, at 18 minutes and 43 seconds:

I guess I got really into my narration. And I must admire Myrtle Reed for aligning all the romances so just about everyone is accounted for. Pretty neat. (Literally!)
