Simon Dubnov was killed by Nazis in 1941 in Riga, Latvia.
Israel Friedlaender was killed by Russian soldiers in 1920 in Ukraine.
Tzar Nicholas II was executed by the Bolsheviks in 1918 in Yekaterinburg, Central Russia.
