OK, here at last is another section, the first part of Letter 29. I was going to put them all into one file, but have just finished reading the other part and it would be rather too long if so.
And I've fixed the tiny glitch in Letter 28
Only 4 to go after I upload the second part!

Letter 28 - PL OK

Letter 29
22:20 - Skipped "We had a great fright last evening."
24:23 - Correction left in: "This has been an irresistibly comical day,"
25:03 - Correction left in: "one peculiarly malign"
27:33 - Correction left in: "my poor horse staggered"

Wow, I didn't realize we're so close to finishing. Four more to go!

Thanks for those corrections - I had missed them clearly.
We are close, but I am afraid I am delayed again. My 103 year old father died last week and I am in the midst of funeral arrangements.
Will get back on it once my time and brain are clearer than they are right now.

So sorry to hear about your father. Take as long as you need.

I echo Lynnet. I'm sad to hear about your father's passing and hope you're able to take care of everything else while still giving yourself time to grieve.

Thanks Lynnet. He was 103, so he had a very good innings. Didn't realise organising a funeral involved so much work though.
Back on the job now.

He was ready to go at last. Life had become increasingly difficult with macular degeneration and a heart problem.
Thank you for your kind thoughts.

OK, I have made the corrections to #29 and reuploaded. Thank you very much for picking up those things that I missed.

I have also done 30 which was a long one, and uploaded that.

I spot checked #29 and it's now PL OK

And I proofread #30, and it too is PL OK.

We're back in business

I've recorded the final letter, but need to check it before uploading. Then just 2 chapters to go!

And here is the final letter, with Isabella leaving Hawaii. A very short one.
And no 'burglarious instincts to dread'

There's an odd 3 words 'up to here' at ~12.28 which I suspect might be a mistake, but as they are in the original, I have left them in.
