Wow, long section!
I've had a flood from seveal of my DPL projects, so will get to this as soon as I can.
I think your correction to the text is fine.

And it's only the first half of the chapter...

Sorry it took me so long to get to this, but it is a well read "PL OK!"

So, how smart is Hans?
Just in ways not understood, I suspect, but my equine knowledge and experience is negligible.

I just sat down, and spent over 70 minutes recording Section 4, and the editing was going well, until I noticed that there was some background static, which seemed to be getting worse and worse. Eventually it ended up like this: https://librivox.org/uploads/bloopers/ExtremeStatic.mp3

I don't think I can realistically salvage this, so I'm going to have to rerecord, and also see if I can figure out what went wrong.

Oh, that is disheartening. :(

I did just run your sample through noise reduction, doing two passes at 12 and, although there is a slight degradation in audio quality, I think the results were pretty good. But, it is you solos so whatever standards you set are the rule. I'll be hear to listen. :)

Finally re-recorded:

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/cleverhans_04_pfungst_128kb.mp3

I'm using a different mike this time (a headset mike I was offered now I'm having to work from home), which has no background noises, and no mains hum, but has a nasty habit of picking up pops (I got rid of most the obvious ones, but there are still several left. I think next time I'll try to keep the mouth piece further from my mouth).

Yeah, it has been a while, hasn't it...

I keep intending to record, but despite what I expected, lockdown actually makes it harder to record, as there are always noisy people around.

I promise I haven't forgotten about this.

It's ok, Jordan! Thanks for replying, we just want to make sure people are still interested in the project. We can wait. :)

 That is the truth!
I've got more time, but less QUIET time in this shared space.
Although these last two week our shipping department opened again, so I'm doing some overtime (all on the phone from home, of course)

BTW, I think I'll launch Cawein Vol 2 this week.

After far too long (as always...), Section 5:

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/cleverhans_05_pfungst_128kb.mp3

Still trying to work out the best way to avoid popping. I need to do some experiments.

Section 6, the longest so far (and probably the longest of the book) is finally done:

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/cleverhans_06_pfungst_128kb.mp3

Next up, Chapter 5, which is so long, I've split it into three sections.

I'll PL as soon as I can, but we've had power outages this week from the strong wind storms, and all my Pl projects are coming in, so I'm backed up a bit. But, I've got this in the queue!
