Hi Phil and Larry

http://gutenberg.net.au/ebooks03/0300151h.html

I am on chapter 26 of Emily of New Moon and considering my next book project. I would very much like to do Emily Climbs which I see is on Gutenberg as per link above. Please advise whether I am allowed to do it.

Many thanks
Leanne

I'll let Phil confirm, but I believe this in not Public Domain in the US yet, but will be next year.

Thanks Phil, that would be much appreciated, and I will wait to hear from you.

I've also researched some of Lucy Montgomery's other works, and there are a few that have potential, but unfortunately most also do not seem to be in the public domain yet. There is one that caught my eye, Kilmeny of the Orchard. It's been done trice on LV, one dramatic and one collaborative version, so I am contemplating perhaps doing it as a solo. The others are The Blue Castle (1929), Magic for Marigold (1929), A Tangled Web (1929), and Jane of Lantern Hill (1937), all of which are interesting and have potential, but as I mentioned I don't think they are out of copyright yet.

Something else caught my eye - Pollyanna of the Orange Blossoms (LV book suggestion), however I'm a bit iffy about that one, as evidently not the same author as the prior Pollyanna's.

Kind regards,
Leanne

As you can see - - - I'm back - - - none the worse for wear, but thoroughly exhausted. I'm going to take a nap :? Keep up the great work . . . . .

Leanne,

"Length" in time, please - - - not file size or volume (easy slip-up to make). I can "back into" the time if necessary, but it adds some extra steps and slows down the process. Have a great trip - - - Happy Anniversary :birthday:
