I've marked Chapters 6 and 7 PL OK, but 7 has only 3 seconds of silence at the end, so you might want to add 2 more to get closer to the 5 seconds needed.

Sorry to hear about the mic problems. Wish I had a clue.

I wear a Plantronics headset all day, but I've never tried recording with it.
(I'm a customer service representative for a large book company, taking orders and solving customer problems. I work from home three days a week, thanks to technology! Great, since we moved about an hour and a half away from the office. But, it's quiet here in the woods. More snow coming!

I too use the Plantronics during the day, as we use Skype for Business for all our communications. I am in information management for an international firm of engineers.

Unfortunately I am still unable to upload. I will have to abandon it and try again tomorrow.

Section 11 is done and dusted, just need to upload it.

I will do a final check of Section 12 tomorrow.

I think that will be my last recording for this week, as we are leaving for Cape Town on Thursday, only back on Monday, and then the court case the following Thursday.

Here's a suggestion . . . .

Just a day or so I had a similar problem with a PDF file on a different forum. Could not get that critter to upload properly -- regardless of what I did -- even after several tries.

It was a file someone else had sent to me for handling.

So what I finally did was re-create the file using a template I had on my computer that I knew had uploaded properly many times. It was a few minutes extra work. But the idea paid off in that my newly re-created version of the file uploaded without a problem.

You might want to try re-creating the MP3 file just in case it somehow became corrupted in processing. That might make all the difference.

Good luck . . . . and with the upcoming ordeal.

Hi Tom and Larry,

I tried the uploads again this morning, and it worked perfectly. I think the problem yesterday was with my LTE router, which works on a radio signal, and that signal is sometimes not particularly brilliant at my home. It's much better at the office. I decided to re-upload sections 9 and 10 as well, in case they did not upload properly either.

So, Sections 09, 10 and 11 are uploaded for checking please (88.5 dB, 88.4 dB and 88.4 dB respectively):
