I thought you had approved this chapter, but that I was holding back because of my poor singing. Well, I can't find evidence of that, so I present Chapter 1. I figure that my singing is not ever going to get better, so...

Yes, I listened to Chapter 1 early on, the file was (and is) PL OK! -- and your singing was just fine, IMHO opinion. I was just waiting for your decision on your next step for the recording.
