If you've read anything about the author you may begin to wonder if she draws on aspects of herself or someone she knew. I'm also trying to figure out how this ties into "The Heir". I don't think they're separate stories. Time will tell.

Misleading title. Unless there's some tie-in later in the book, these are individual stories. The protagonists in the first two are heirs, but "Love Story" is a stretch at best.

But at least the writing is good.
