Europe In The Middle Ages (1922) by Ierne Lifford Plunket (1885 - 1970).

Summary to be provided. (Steven Seitel)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://archive.org/details/europeinmiddleag00plun/page/n5
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I would enjoy PLing this, but I think you have a regular DPL?

I can always fill-in when needed.

Hi, Kevin. Thanks for the generous offer. Kiki did say she wanted to DPL another book with me, but I haven't heard back from her yet. If she decides not to, then yes, I'd be very happy to work with you. Let's give it another day and see what she says.

Cheers, and thanks again for your interest. It does look like a fun book.

Hi, Steven and Kevin!

There is simply NO WAY I will give up the possibility to PL this! :D Sorry, Kevin!

Steve, this looks indeed interesting. I specialized in Middle Ages at the very start of my studies. That changed quickly, but the topic has not lost its charm with me.

I think I will also set this up and be the MC, once I am at it anyway...

Looking forward to another great book!
Kristine

Hi, Kiki...Welcome aboard!

I had forgotten you specialized in Medieval studies. This should indeed prove interesting. I know very little about this historical period, which is why I wanted to read the book.

I've filled in MW with the chapter titles, but don't seem to be able to add my name as reader. Do you do that as MC?

Any objection to KevinS listening along, since he's expressed interest?

Don't worry about me; I'll listen when you're all done ... or should you ever need my help with something.
