On the Yukon Trail by Roy J. Snell (1878 - 1959).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/on-the-yukon-trail-by-roy-j-snell/
Curlie Carson and Joe Marion are chasing a radio outlaw across the frozen Alaska territory. It should be a simple dogsled trip, especially with hints from the mysterious “whisperer.” But wolves, blizzards, reindeer rustlers, and more say otherwise. Can the boys safely cross treacherous sea ice, capture the outlaw, and rescue a stranded arctic expedition? Maybe. Maybe not. Listen and find out. (Tom Penn)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/45029
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

craigdav1: This book has "Roy J Snell" on the cover, but his pen name "James Craig" on the title page. Is there a way to link the two names together so a search for "James Craig" lands on Snell?

I'm sure there is a way but I'll need to check with the other Admins as to the best way to do it. This will be sorted out by the time you finish the book.
