Section 7 PL NOtes: Just one little name, probably caught it because there are James and John brothers in my family. At 13:26, page 95 You read, John, brother and it should be James, brother .....accomplice of John.
Other than that it's great, as usual.

I guess I've always seen it referred to as The Crystal Palace. I had to look up some pictures of it. Quite impressive.

While listening I was reminded of a children's book I read to a class a few years ago. The Dinosaurs of Waterhouse Hawkins. It is illustrated by one of my favorites. Hawkins was a sculptor who mad dinosaurs for the exhibit. In one of the pictures, the scientists are having a fancy dinner INSIDE the dinosaur.

I tried to insert a picture of the cover but couldn't figure it out.
The section was inspiring that so many people came just to look at the exhibits from other countries. Reminds me of the world's fairs we had in the 20th. Don't hear about them too much anymore.
Thanks,

Thanks for the link and the PL, aniroo!
The railway had special excursion fares and ordinary people from all over the UK came to the exhibition.

I always enjoy listening to your project. It is interesting to hear what was going on behind the scenes in politics. Nowadays it seems that everything is tweets and headlines, but that doesn't seem to make things any more clear.
If the devil had a son, he surely must be Palmerston! What a vivid description of the man's feelings toward Palmerston.
Thanks,
