SOLO The Story of a Plush Bear by Laura Lee Hope ( - 0).

This project is now in the catalogue. All audio files can be found on our catalogue page:
https://librivox.org/the-story-of-a-plush-bear-by-laura-lee-hope/

Tenth in a series of 12 Make Believe Stories, this charming tale of a Christmas toy bear and its adventures is an old fashioned delight.

  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/17064
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

We have a palindrome for a project number! :)

I changed the text link to the introductory page of the book instead of the html page in gutenberg so that people can choose which format they prefer.

Larry has been added as DPL. Thank you, Larry.

If I've missed anything or you have any questions, please post here.

Have fun! :)

Thank you, Bev! I didn't realize the Gutenberg link was for listeners. I usually always read from the html version.

You're welcome!

Initially we need the link to confirm public domain status. But the text link is listed on our catalogue page and a lot of listeners like to read along. I usually download the epub to my android device or my e-reader and read it from there.

I'll move us to Going Solo now that we're fully staffed.

Oh, wow!
Well, I'll get to these just as soon as I can.
Several unexpected things came swooping in and stole a bunch of my LV time for this week. So frustrated, but I'll do my best.
