I don't know how to say this in Russian, part 4 has a minor reverberation about it and sometimes the smallest technical noises, while part 3 is absolutely clean. This is of course not meant for correction, but if you really use two different methods of recording (place/type of mic), I'd suggest that you stick with the one you used with part 3 of this book.

Thank you, Eva, for the kind words and careful PL! Good catch!
I posted the corrected sec. 3 and sec.4:

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/lampada_04_ivanov_128kb.mp3 [17:37]

Your Russian is very good! Where did you study? If you decide to try a recording in Rus., I'd be happy to PL for you.
I think, it would be fair to Tricia if we communicate in English here, she should be able to see what we discuss. Of course, specific expressions of the book content could be in Rus.

Unfortunately, I cannot always reproduce the quality. At the moment I don't have a studio of my own and record just when I have a quiet moment. I hope sec.4 sounds OK, but probably not as clean as we like.

Mark,
the last section was very delightful, your reading is excellent. I have labelled it PL OK. It was a pleasure working with you.

I studied Russian in Leipzig and Voronesh, but unfortunately it got a little rusty lately since I don't use it too often. I would probably not do a whole book in Russian, but I'd be happy to join a Russian group project, such as a book of poems or stories.

I guess we'll meet again somewhere at librivox.
Thank you, Tricia, too. The book seems to be ready for cataloguing now.

I see this. :)

Mark - did you want to include a Russian intro/summary?
Fiction: It Is Never too Late to Mend
Irish Home Rule Arguments: Handbook on Home Rule

Thank you, Eva, the pleasure was mine! I am starting next book, if you are interested in PL (no pressure!), here it is: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=72152. I will keep you in mind for group projects. See you around!

Tricia, is the one-liner I wrote not enough? I don't have much additional info on this book. I selected it because I found it in PD :-)

I don't see anything in Russian. The blurb in the top post is in English. Translating that to Russian would work fine.
