Yes, it's been insanely busy for work (which is good, but when you home school, and have to run a household, that gets a little rough), and I've had to slow down my PL'ing, I usually get to them on the weekends.

Join Rough and Ready for his adventure on the streets of New York City. Working as a newsboy, Rough and Ready tries to support himself and his sister on his meager earnings. Unfortunately, their stepfather is seeking to kidnap little Rose, getting an education is hard work, swindlers are trying to trick him out of his money, and thieves are planning nefarious deeds. Luckily for Rough and Ready, he makes some good friends along the way. Summary by Tori Faulder
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/55142
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Give me a little time to get through these. I just got a new computer and don't have everything ready to go yet. I will get to these over the next week or so.

Section 10 - PL OK!
Section 11 - PL OK!
Section 12:
16:18 - 16:37 REPEAT OF PARAGRAPH: Mr. Martin's questions had not been without an object. The idea which had occurred to him was this. Why might he not make Rose, in like manner, a source of income? Perhaps he might in that way more than pay expenses, and then he would still be able to keep her, and so continue to spite Rough and Ready, which would be very agreeable to his feelings. (this paragraph is also at 15:53 to 16:17)
Section 13 - PL OK!

 Thank you so much for your help. I think I've got them fixed. Would you be interested in PLing for the next book in the series? I'm planning to start it soon.
