The Widow Married: A Sequel to The Widow Barnaby by Frances Milton Trollope (1779 - 1863).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-widow-married-a-sequel-to-the-widow-barnaby-by-frances-milton-trollope/
EXCERPT: The existence of Mrs. Barnaby (this name is once more used as the one by which our heroine has hitherto been best known), the existence of Mrs. Barnaby, up to the hour in which she pledged her vows to Major Allen, before the altar of the principal church in Sydney, had, on the whole, been a very happy one. She had, in fact, very keenly enjoyed many things, which persons less fortunately constituted might have considered as misfortunes and to the amiable and well-disposed reader a continuation of the history of such a mind can hardly fail of being useful as an encouragement and example. • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hello again Dave. I have a question!

The text I that I planned on using contains all 3 volumes but the chapters do not have titles as they do in the 3 separate volumes. The text is identical however.
Is it OK if I use the 3 volumes instead or just add the titles as I go along??? Given how large a book it is I find titles create more interest in what's to come.
Hopefully this is not too confusing. :)

I agree with you that the titles add to the reader's interest so, yes, please use the titles.

Hope your weekend has been a nice one Helen.

I may not always express it but I hope you realize how much I appreciate how quickly you PL my work. You're the best!!!!! Please do keep in mind that you don't have to be in SUPERPL mode all the time though. :D

Just uploaded a couple more and will be back in 2-3 days. :-) I have to admit although I have some ideas I'm still not sure what to expect from our conniving hero and heroine.:)

Hope you have a great start to the week!!
