Your reasoning sounds fine to me.

I'm really enjoying listening to this reading, so if you would like a D/L I'd like to volunteer for the rest of it.

Looks like this one is finished, and it's ready to go to the catalog. Is that correct? I want to be sure I'm not jumping the gun. :)

Looks like you're right, I thought it was going to be the rest of the book, but now realize it was only Peter Bell.

Umm...

These are all in stereo; they should be mono. Open 'em up, and go to Tracks / Mix / Mix Stereo Down to Mono. Then, before re-exporting...

Volume is too low. All need to come up about 8 dB. Amplify them that much. Then...

Bit rate on all these is variable; need to be 128kbps constant. This is set when you export to MP3. When you go to export, on the screen where you enter the file name for the MP3, change the Bit Rate mode to Constant, and the quality should be 128 kbps.

Please adjust all these and upload 'em again. Sorry - I should have checked your tech specs when you came back to the forum, but I thought they would be correct from when you recorded 8 years ago. :(

I would love to read the rest of Volume II of Knight's Poetical Works of William Wordsworth. Most of the poems, though, are already available in LV. I thought I would start with the works that aren't in the catalogue, especially the narrative poems that are less well known. Another mature narrative poem of Wordsworth's that's not in the catalog is "The Waggoner," which was (like Peter Bell) first published in 1819. I thought I would make that my next project. Should I post that one in the Launch Pad?

Thanks! They're OK now.

If you're ready for your next solo, then yes - post it over in the Launch Pad. :) (If the entire poem is less than 74 minutes in length and has no natural divisions, you can simply read it for the Short Poetry Collection. The current one is here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=70832 )
