OMG! That is probably the sloppiest work I have ever put out! I am so sorry. I was away from home when I listened through and just used earbuds. I don't know how I missed all those. I probably would have just recorded it over if I had known there were so many. I have done this enough to know to move the microphone away from the direct line of my mouth when I record. On the upside, I have never used to High Pass Filter, so thanks for the heads up on that little gem.

I am about 1/2 way through fixing section 01 and have not had a chance to give the others a fresh listen to make sure the quality is good. If you get into the next sections and they are that bad, it isn't a problem to re-record them as opposed to putting you through the tedious process of catching them all.

I hate that not only was it poor quality, but it was the longest most boring part of the book! Sorry about that but thank you for being so thorough!
Kind Regards!
CJ

I felt bad about dumping that long list on you, but it really looks much worse than it is. There were plenty of places you sailed through smoothly that would have left me foundering. I confess to having to pull up a web page on roman numerals; it's been too many decades for me to remember the intricacies of how they work.

Low pass, high pass, notch filter, and especially the de-clicker I use a lot because my raw recordings are, well, pretty raw. I'm glad you are finding the high pass filter helpful.

I am hoping to start in on section 2 this afternoon.

01:53.3 abrupt termination of "them"
06:39 pop
11:25 I heard "the Holy One and Great One" and expected "the Holy and Great One"
12:55.0 I heard "and send them" and expected "send them"
13:00.6 I heard "they shall not have " and expected "shall they not have"

Thank you.

Sections 1 & 2 are ready for spot PL

Time 45:57.72 / 89.4 dB
Hopefully section 1 is much cleaner. Sorry again for that.

HA! I too pulled up a roman numeral converter and feel like I still stumbled over it.

I'll get to section 1 eventually, but thought you might like to have

section 3 notes:
01:32.77 A bit of a pop
04:00.2 breath noise
06:51.8 I heard “or depart from” and expected “nor depart from“
06:59.92 breath noise

13:04 I heard “beyond the abyss” and expected “beyond that abyss”

I'm counting on you to tell me to back off if I'm being too picky about the breath noises and such.

Thanks.

Section 01 PL Notes:

I re-listened to the whole thing rather than trying to do a spot check. Here is what I came up with:

00:00 The intro does not follow the format specified in the first post. I don't think the variance is significant since you get a version of the disclaimer in there as well as title and translator. But I should have caught it last time. Sorry.
06:04 I heard "and since there are" and expected "and since these are"
08:37 abrupt termination
09:50 I heard "the beginning of the world" and expected "the beginning the world" (probaby a typo in the text
11:25 I heard "first Enoch verse four" and expected "first Enoch chapter five verse four"
13:08 I heard "belong to this period" and expected "belongs to this period"
17:26 abrupt termination
40:02 I heard "93, 1 through 10, 12 through 17" and expected "93, 1 through 10, 91, 12 through 17"
42:21 pop
43:11 pop

Section 2~ PL OK!! I guess 1 out of 5 is better than 0 out of 5!!

You are not being too picky. I appreciate your thoroughness so long as it isn't too cumbersome for you.

Sections 1 and 4 are ready for spot PL.

45:59.76 / 89.6 dB

On section 01 @ 09:50 I heard "the beginning of the world" and expected "the beginning the world" (probaby a typo in the text

** I did add the OF; I think it was an original typo so I think I will leave the correction. I am certainly open for an alternate viewpoint though.

Thank you! I will try to get the others edited in the next few days.

Section 01 is PL OK!

Section 04 has but one item:
06:47.2 abrupt termination

It is actually quite pleasant for a change to PL without having to worry about being too critical and scaring off a new reader or riling an old one.

Section 6 nicely read, CJ

I have just a few items for you to consider:

03:37.8 There is a slight pop
05:19.7 I heard "ten thousands" (plural) and expected "ten thousand" (singular)
06:58 I heard "chapter fifty one" and expected "chapter forty one"
07:26 I heard "chapters three through nine", but these are verses, not chapters, right?
10:35 I heard "their parable" but expected something like "literally their parable"

Thank you!
