Betty,
Please check 31 at 11:55 - there's a repeat at "and crossed".

Did you see my PM a few weeks ago about the title of this book?

Betty,

Sorry, but I missed it. I don't have any recent PMs from you in my box. Can you tell me your concern again?

Thanks.

Just that I discovered a discrepancy between the file name and the actual name of the book. On Archive.org and in the MW it is “young folks treasury” and I have been saying “ young people’s treasury”

Great That's exactly what I hoped you would say Not sure exactly how that occurred.
And just an FYI-- I think I may have to split the upcoming chapter on arctic exploration. Looks to be 30 pages plus. We'll see.

Thank you.

Betty,

Section 34 has a longish silence mid sentence at about 1.27.

Betty,
I'm up to date and you are all PL OK.
Some of these tales are rough - it if weren't that we have the story, I'm not sure they are going to make it out alive. You're doing a great job with all the names and places. :)

Betty,

On 37, at 9.36 - "you can hardly realize" is repeated.

Otherwise, PL OK.

I have uploaded all the chapters and corrected 37.

My thoughts are to continue with this series and record the text entitled "Men and Women of Achievement."

The other option is to return to the Geographical Reader series by Frank Carpenter
and read the volume on Alaska which I believe has just become PD. Or perhaps both.....

Any thoughts from my esteemed MC and DPL?

Thanks for helping me get this book in the catalog.

I think they both sound interesting. But if Alaska is in the PD, that would be my first choice (because I'm going there again this spring . . . so it's on my mind).

Whatever you want to read, I'll gladly listen to!
