Complete London Labour and the London Poor by Henry Mayhew (1812-1887) - lt
That should be more than halfway.
Section 53 (55:26)

So boring, I'm afraid! A table of all the street traffic between the hours of 8am and 8pm categorised by the number of horses used per vehicle. And this part doesn't include the "summary" tables from the bottom of the same pages.... Courage!

This is the file I uploaded earlier as "Section 54" but I realised I have the bottom half of pages 282 and 283 to record which will be Section 54.

Having problems uploading - keep getting error message. This seems to be the same as last time. It doesn't require a log in - goes straight to the upload screen, then doesn't manage it.
Ah! We're in business. Section 54 (34:09)

Hi my name is Michael. LibriVox id NobelActual. I noticed that you had quite a few sections which need to be proofed over the different volumes. I was wondering and hoping that I could assist in proofing this huge amazing project.
Hi, Michael.
I'm not sure what you mean by "over the different volumes". There is already a DPL for this project, but I defer to Lynnet if what you are talking about is necessary. Thanks for the offer anyway!

First of all, Michael, welcome to librivox and thank you for your interest.
There are two volumes of London Labour in progress at the moment. They are distinct and separate projects.
Volume 1 is being read by Peter and Gill is the DPL. That means she will listen to all sections as they are posted.
Volume 2 is being read by Gill and Kristin is DPL. Neither volume needs any more proof listeners at present.
There are two more volumes of London Labour, but thus far, no one is reading them.
If you are looking for something to proof listen, I recommend looking for projects with a tilde (~) in the subject line. That is librivox shorthand for needing a proof listener. You can volunteer for a single section or two to see if you enjoy proof listening, before signing on as a DPL.
