perfect chapter again, PL ok. Wow, the part where the women are abducted just to be kept somewhere secluded until some bribed priest marries them to their abductor, this was a bit hard to swallow. I didn't know this book yet, but seeing as it's an epistolary novel, I would probably like it.

Very interesting so far :)

BTW this is part of your April challenge if I'm not mistaken ? Are you always posting your achievements in that thread ? Cori is keeping track of the accumulated minutes we are all recording together for this challenge (just for fun and statistical purposes  )

I didn't know about that, but I am happy to do it. Does that mean we post in both places?

no need to post the links, just let them know you finished two sections already and tell them the length. That's how I do it. You can read the last few posts in that thread, then you see that others report their successes as well. :)

Here is Section 3. Thanks. Please, no hurry. I had a need for some literary criticism.

ah finally here's a book mentioned that I have read, although not Belinda, but Castle Rackrent. 8-) It was an interesting character study of Irish nobility and the common people.

Belinda seems to be a good book too. I see we already have it in our database. We probably have all the books you will mention in this project

Excellent reading again, although this time I found a tiny error, that would better be corrected:

> at 13:06: (p. 30): “she heard nothing of Lord Delacour” – you say “lady” which is clearly wrong in this context, as she has seen the lady a good deal already by that time

thanks

Sometimes, I re-write the story regardless of sense. I guess that is not an acceptable approach. :?

not in this case  but don't beat yourself up about it. Your ledger of errors is still far from filling up (we barely started page 1, I'd say)

Jim

I thought I would mention here that I also have corrected 39 of World Story 02, the one that I didn't do the intro for correctly for the painting. I don't mean to add to your burden or to press the issue, but it looked as if it got lost in the avalanche of files you are under. Yours ever so patiently, Jim

thank you, Lord Delacour has the correct gender now and this section is PL ok. :)

btw I don't think we need the page references anymore in the MW, what do you think ? At least they can get deleted after a chapter is approved.

 you are right, I missed it in-between the new reader welcomes. So good that you pointed me to it. Will check it out today, promised !

I loved this chapter, because Pride and Prejudice is a book I really love and Elizabeth Bennett is indeed a strong character. I was sure the author would mention her in one of the chapters.

Excellent reading again, Jim. PL ok.
