The Texan Scouts by Joseph A. Altsheler (1862 - 1919).

This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-texan-scouts-by-joseph-a-altsheler/

Abandoned solo that is being completed as a group project. aniroo is the BC/DPL.
This is a sequel to Texan Stars and continues the adventures of young Ned Fulton as he finds himself a part of the struggle for Texans to defend against the Mexican army and reach independence. In his travels across the state he meets historical figures involved in the struggles on both sides. It has the hallmarks of a good Western novel set in an historical background. The trilogy is finished with The Texan Triumph.
  1. Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/15767
    .
  2. Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I still don't like the way it sounds. Just say the word and I will redo it.

Just a few notes.
1. The end silence is too short. It should be about 5 sec. and it is only 1

2. At 16:37 you say " I guess they're good and scared, but they won't come back" (talking about the wolves) It should be " They'll come back later"

everything else sounds good. Not sure why you think it was a problem.

I wasn't as busy as I thought I would be so I don't have to wait for Sunday. Have a great weekend !

Changed the line you told me to change and added time to the end.
