Definitely different. Sounds like a lesser quality mic. Maybe some settings or locations got... umm... adjusted.
It's Okayyyy. Definitely acceptable if it were someone else or in your earlier years. But for consistency of quality... I hate to say it but it's not quite up to par.

That's what I thought, which was why I asked.

I wonder if I selected the wrong mic in Audacity. Either that, or my mic is dying.

It seemed strange they broke the chapter in the middle of the Bible story.

I think I just had the wrong mic selected - my laptop's internal mic instead of the the one on the stand.

She breaks up chapters in the middle of stories or conversations a lot. This chapter started in the middle of a conversation, for example.

Chapter 8 uploading now. We end the Bible story, but we do end again on a bit of a cliffhanger - and the next section has a scene change back to Line's family.

8 correction is uploading now. I've recorded 9, and will probably upload it this evening. I expect Kevin to take a bike ride; I'll work on it then.

EDIT: I was able to edit most of it before K came home. It's posted now.
