Another three chapters read.

I had forgotten how long it takes before we get to the heart of the novel, which would be the historical anti-Catholic riots of 1780. So far, all that has happened is important character development, with only a hint of religious animosity--that between Chester and Haredale. But even Dickensian character development is very interesting, so I certainly don't find it boring so far.

I was holding off until you had PLed the last three, but it's been over a week, so here are the following three. You're either very busy or on vacation. :)

Corrected. It sounds like I neglected to clap after the mistake like I usually do, so I didn't see it when I was editing.

Section 22 is PL OK
I am always surprised how many times I miss snapping my fingers when I make a mistake during a recording!

After another delay last week (a computer virus, but that's been definitely dealt with now), I have read three more chapters.

In the next chapter, which I have yet to upload, there is a character saying, "by G—!" As per my practice in the past, I have read it as, "by God!"
