I have named this chapter to help you.
I have a feeling that chp5 (Oxford) was wrongly worded in the file name and that it might be too quiet, as I don't remember if I had normalised it to -3db OR run it through my Compander NR process. Let me know if you want me to repeat the upload.

I now move over to newer equipment for the on-going chapters of this book. It might take me a while to get comfortable with everything.

Volumes were fine (89.1 and 90.8dB, respectively). The file names just need to have the section number. Almost finished with Part 1!

I made a "behind the scenes" change that might enable you to login to the MW. I don't think it will but you might try to login again just to see if you can.

If the above doesn't work you might try following the instructions shown below.

Phew! A long and challenging chapter, particularly as I was getting to know a totally new change of studio equipment and software.
I PL'd it as best I can and think it is OK. What does BC mean? I have given up trying to edit the MW, can't login at all...Can we therefore go on as we are for this please?

Another nice read. BC is the "book coordinator." The BC manages the MW and the readers (in a group project). For now I'll manage the MW but on some future project......But for now focus on "the product."

At the very beginning of the intros to Sections/Chapters 2 and 3 you don't say "Part 1" before giving the chapter number. A very minor thingy that I felt I should bring to your attention. It is really up to you whether you feel a change is necessary. The other sections/chapters start with "Part 1" and could be the source of the absent information should you decide to add the missing "part."

Just looked at the MW which you have kindly formatted ahead for me. The next file from the book is actually entitled: (part 2) 'Introduction' which leads on to the next chapter
Can this be changed or shall I add the other chapter to it in a new version? (Still to be recorded).

This section (#8/Pt2 Introductory) has been added to the MW. One little quibble in the audio though, could you say "Part 2 Introductory" before the book title (i.e. at the very beginning of the file). In the file you give the section title after, not before, the book title. It's easier for the listener who may be looking for a specific chapter if the section title is said first.

I will add the 'part1 Introductory' to the beginning of the read on 8 as requested and will upload it with the same file name? I hope that is right. ( I could instead slip 'retakes' into the file name when you spot a mistake I should remedy, in order to differentiate it from all the stuff you must be dealing with on other books at present).Thanks for changing the MV to include the introductory and thanks for your kind comments generally.

Great read. Up to this point you have been starting each file with the Part # and the Chapter #. For this section it would be Part 2, Chapter 1. In the recording you refer to the section number (which is 9) as the chapter nmber. I think it would be best if you continued with the Part and Chapter numbers as you have been doing. At the end of each file you should just say "end of Chapter 1."

Intro - Part 2, Chapter 1
Outro - Chapter 1

By the way, if you click on the word "Listen" in the MW it will play each file. That way you can quickly listen to the intro without the need to download the file.
