Nice Girl With 5 Husbands by Fritz Leiber (1910 - 1992).

This project can now be found in our catalog at https://librivox.org/nice-girl-with-5-husbands-by-fritz-leiber/
Four quirky short stories by the talented Fritz Leiber: Nice Girl with 5 Husbands, A Pail of Air, the Last Letter and A Bad Day for Sales. ( phil chenevert)
  • Text source (only read from this text!):

    A Pail of Air http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/51461
    The Last Letter http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/51530
A Bad Day for Sales http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/50819
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

These stories are great and your reading is more refreshing than a...pail of air.

Only one left. Why only four stories?

Uh ... I don't know except that I liked these stories and wanted to record them so....they ended up as a project. Noting fancy. The great thing about LibvriVox is that we have lots of flexibility and I love it.

Hi PaisleyMac and welcome to LibriVox! Since this is a solo that story is already spoken for, but there are lots of other projects that need readers. Just look around.
