I think the fox and the chickadee might have an especially special place in Robinson's heart. I think his sketches of them are prone to stick for a long time.
This is probably my last piece. So very happy to be part of this project. I'll slip in a cover at the end. Enjoy the rest of it, Helen, Larry and Nemo! And Nemo, thank you for finding this treasure.

If we do meet again, why, we shall smile;
If not, why then, this parting was well made.

Thank YOU for joining in on this. It would not be the same without your sensitive understanding and reading of these little vignettes of the natural world.

Thank you for the PL's Helen!
I know what you mean about those long forgotten memories ..... I have not gone fishing in 30 years, yet the essay brought back love/hate memories of fishing with my Dad, who was an avid fisherman.
There is a another short one in the MW for PL (sect #52)
Have a great weekend in that wild and woolly NJ!!!

No, I haven't forgotten about this project.
Since I drove home last night in a heavy snow storm, I thought I'd read about August to cheer me up. Didn't encourage me that much, but here it is:

I've put it in the MW Ready for PL.
Entering our busiest season at work, and will probably be picking up some OT as the pace of Christmas orders increases.
Additionally, we will be moving in two weeks. This time it should be more permanent, back to New Hampshire. My commute will lengthen, but it will be quiet, at last, on six acres of NH woods!
