A bit surprised by the number of unmarked civil war graves in federal cemeteries. Then are a bit of reflection...not surprised.

I assume that there were no "dog tags" at that time, so short of going though a dead soldier's pockets, there may have been no way to ID them. It is fortunate that they had a proper burial rather than a funeral pyre with all of the day's dead.

Next appendix is a longer one, so I'll probably do it on Thursday.

And this is the finish of the book. Once you have approved this section (you need to rule on whether I appropriate address a set of parentheses...you will know the section when you hear it), I need to remove the last two chapters (16-17) of the book on the magic window.

I may not have the opportunity to catalog this until tomorrow. I deleted the extra sections (to reduce the chance of accidental deletions only admins can remove sections).

Thank you very much, Dave! This book took a while due to a hectic work schedule as well as an upper respiratory infection that took over a month to abate!!

Summer school begins next Tuesday, and after that busy time has had a chance to settle down, I'll start plans for the next challenge.

You have been a great co-worker on these projects, and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!

Let me know if any changes are needed. I had to make one change. Title fields cannot have leading numbers so I put "Ch." in front of the leading numbers and that solved the problem. Leading numbers cause the files to be listed out of order. Good luck with your new students.
