Hi Pam,

This is extraordinary. What rectitude some of these people displayed.

Chapters 35 and 37 are PL OK. I have a small note for 36 at 8.52-8.57, the bottom of p. 176:
...and Mr. [heard Mrs] Elliott, a neighbour who was hastening to the rescue...
I think Mr is probably correct, as it later says 'he'.

I don't blame you for getting caught up in it, though. I have a lot of outtakes with some of the dramatic scenes in Mary Prince.

I have no idea what it was doing last night, but I couldn't download the chapters. Sometimes it takes a little break, and then it's fine the next day! It's a mystery. But these chapters were, as usual, gripping. And the official report: 36, 38, 39, 40 and 41 are PL OK. You're on fire!
