Excellent! I always typed 'pt1' or 'pt2' or something onto the end of the file name and then copy and pasted them all into a new single file. That worked, but this ought to be even faster.

As with so many things, it'll probably be better in the long haul but it will take a bit of getting used to initially.

Carry on recording these wonderful books!

Yup, yup, yup, PL OK.

I hope you're just about settled in now for the holidays and don't need to go to the supermarket when it's absolutely crazy tomorrow.

Hi Pam,

Chapter 2 is PL OK. And yes, she's a real firecracker!

The museums sound brilliant. I've just looked at the exhibitions. I hope you have a terrific time, and hello to your family!

Hi Pam,

Working with you is an education. I mean, it would be simply from being exposed to new books and authors I haven't read, but your commentary is wonderful. Please feel free to footnote anything you like, especially the history of medicine!

I have one note for chapter 5, at 6.08-6.10, the second sentence of the third paragraph on page 32:
...the executors [heard executioners] dismissed...

The author's mother sounds like quite a woman, too.
