Yes, we've had some ongoing family crises and I'm running around here with my hair on fire every day. I hope do get back to normal soon and get to record again.

A very sheepish "long time no see," but I am glad to be able to come back now.

Good to see you back! But - umm, you uploaded a WAV file

Want me to PL it anyway, and then you can make any edits at the same time?

EDIT: I PL'd it, and it's OK aside from being the wrong format. :)

When my off key and monotone singing start, just hold tight, it doesn't last long.

Section 6 PL OK.

Did you make up the tune for the song, or did you research it and come up with the authentic tune?

I searched for the tune to that song, but the best I could do was find the complete lyrics. So I used a tune from another old camp meeting hymn called "Who Will Sing for Me" written in 1922 by J.T. Ely.

Perfect! I encounter songs in my solos a lot, and I try to use the original tune. And like you, if I can't find it, I choose another PD one. :) I was curious what your route was.
