Hi

Looking after Felicity was mostly enjoyable - although I have found that the My Little Pony film and the Pokemon film are excruciating to watch!
We are off on a cruise along part of the Rhine starting next weekend. But it was lovely going with her parents to drop her off and pick her up from a taster session at her new school - and the following both of us spent the Thursday night in Northampton so we could take her to school and bring her home - Chris had to fly to Dublin for the day for work.

Hope you enjoy this chapter.

So wonderful you could have fun with your grand-daughter. Some of those movies are certainly excruciating. I'm not sure I'll ever get the song from "Baby Animals Just Want to Have Fun" out of my head, and I haven't heard it for more than 20 years. Have a wonderful time on your cruise! My brothers did a Rhine cruise several years ago and had a marvelous time (minus the lost luggage that the airline finally found after the end of the cruise).

Chapter 28 was lovely. Marked PL OK.

It is a particularly beautiful fall this year. Some years we only have yellows, but this year we have a lot of red and orange. Just got back from a trip to Ohio to see my brothers. I got quite spoiled, being treated like a princess for several days.

Was nice to a find a chapter from you when I got back. Chapter 29 is PL OK.

Sounds wonderful

We have had continuing warm weather until yesterday - and this morning we woke to near winter conditions. Sailing on Wednesdays has been wonderful - albeit with little wind.
However this weekend we have a memorial service for a dear friend, and then on Tuesday we are called upon as grandparents to go to Northampton on Tuesday, so we can take Felicity to and from school on Wednesday. It will be lovely to see her - even if only fleetingly. Then on the 9th November we travel up to Manchester for Richard and Steve's wedding on the 10th - and both of Helen's brothers (Paul, the eldest, who was my friend before I had met Helen) and Marty, and their wives, are all coming to the wedding, as is Helen's bridesmaid. It promises to be a very special occasion.

Here is chapter 30

Chapters 30 and 31 were very enjoyable, and I've marked them PL OK.

Am looking forward the wedding for you. That should be on of life's real joys.

Hi Arlene

Here is Chapter 32
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/drthorne_32_trollope.mp3 25:21.5

The wedding was lovely, so affirming for the boys - so many people appreciating them both.

Just picked up Helen from the station so need to put the food on the table!

Love

Nick

That was nice, comforting chapter. Marked PL OK.

So gorgeous today. Wish you had been here on an autumn day like today, when all the mountains are out in their glory!
