I've always found premonition to be a little disturbing and he seems to have it in abundance.

Linny ! I worked the last two entire evenings, but I finished the Tipster ! I give you one long and one very short section, so you don't have to wait for the finale.

Now I don't know the first thing about horse-racings or betting but I think (I hope) I brought it over convincingly.

I notice I make less pronunciation errors lately.

And in that story I could only shake my head at the stupidity of this guy. I'm not a betting-person at all, but IF for some reason I would have to bet to win a lot of money, I would at least, from the start, keep the money I borrowed on the side and not bet with that as well. And with each win I would keep a bit more money on the side. So in the end, when the horse loses, at least I would not be totally ruined.

How greedy can one be

I seriously could not pity this guy in the end. He had it coming.

I completely agree. I'm not a gambler. I've seen that crazy look when others are gambling though. Certainly can become a sickness. It wasn't like that for this guy. This one was just foolish.

And yes, pronunciation has been spot on! I've been following the text for each reading.

I'm back with another chapter

Now after the card-game and the horse-betting, here is a third sport I know absolutely ZERO about, but which I need to make sound accurate throughout the recording

Well, the story in question is quite predictable, but nevertheless the classic ending will always be chilling, I think. I liked the atmosphere, despite the rugby setting. Judge for yourself:

you know, I probably did, but what surprises me more is that you never took issue before, because I believe I never ever do a difference in sound with the words "man" and "men". I was always under the impression there is not really a difference. Not like with "woman" and "women". Also when I hear other people read the word "men" I don't think I notice much of a difference.

Be that as it may, I think you probably mean I should draw out the "ehhh" a bit more in the middle (what else could it be ?) so here is the line again. Do you notice a difference ? I hope that is what you had in mind.
