I've added the In Memoriam to Section 00. You can start listening at 05:15.

Unable to change the name of the section to Preface and In Memoriam. It keeps reverting to "Preface". If you can do it (and think it matters) please do it. Otherwise we can leave it as is.

Ann, I made a little boo-boo. Section 00 should read the reverse of what I asked. It should be In Memoriam and Preface, which is the order they're presented in the book. Sorry! :(

13 is ready.

Ann, do you happen to know whether there's a way to listen to LV recordings at a faster (than normal) speed?

Chapters 12 and 13 are PL OK!

Yes, there is a way to speed up a recording. If you import the file to Audacity, you go into the Effects tab and select Change Tempo. This will speed up or slow down a recording without changing the tone of voice. I usually slow my recordings down 2%, but you can experiment with it to see what works for you.

Thanks for pointing out the speed-up and slow-down option on Audacity. Too bad it's not available to listeners as it is on Audacity. My wife loves that feature and speeds up just about everything she listens to there. She regrets she can't speed me up online! (Is she trying to tell me something? :hmm: )

14 is a long one at 43:13. I did it in 3 days, one each for morning, afternoon, and night.

Just 3 chapters to go, and I think this time I'm really done with WWI But, what's the saying, never say never?

16 is up, Ann, almost 39 minutes long. I should have done it in stages instead of plowing on in one take. You can hear the old pipes start to rust a little as I rattled on.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
