Perfect read Keri.
Nice early summer day here. Garden has 3 pairs of Blackbirds trying to keep their chicks fed and the chicks just sitting around being fat and demanding and scruffy. Get a job chicks.

Thanks for that.
Have a Happy Christmas, Keri and Grant!
In the mind, or consciousness of the Earth this flower first lay latent as a dream. Perhaps, in her consciousness, it nested as that which in us corresponds to a little thought.--A.Blackwood

Haisai Ojisan,
Wonderful reading. I had been waiting for this chapter to hear this insight into a writer much loved by me and it was well worth the wait. Anyway, maybe a slight change of meaning here?

At: 5:22
Sounds like: ...this moral life...
My text reads: ...this mortal life...

otherwise perfect.

Hope all is well on the coast, regards Grant.

Thanks Grant, Powys early novels are very Hardy influenced and he actually got to meet him. So that one was probably pretty personal. The early novels are also out of copyright so if I wasn't put off by how long I'd taken to do this it could be worth doing one of those, they're also shorter than his major novels but longer than Visions and Revisions.

There is a bit of a wind picking up here at the moment but it's quite a hot night.

Getting near to the end of the book now
