Ok! I have found that if I check the box "allow clipping" it allows me to adjust the amplification but if I dont, sometimes it wont let me bring the amplification up to 6. What do I do then?

You can select the entire recording, and apply the Effect | Leveler, or Effect | Compressor. I usually use the leveler because I've never really figured out the compresser. The leveller will bring down the highs and bring up the lows.

After you've run this, then check the volume again (using checker or replaygain), and see if you can amplify enough to bring you to 89 dB.

Alright. Chapter 3 is ready for PL!
I found a video for effect - compressor. I needed threshold -14, noise floor -40, ratio 2:1, and attack/release times at the lowest possible. Then I went to amplify. I have no clue where my dB is lol. Let me know how the sound is Cheryl

I thought the croc bit off Captain Crooks hand??
The sound level is ok. I always like as much volume as possible, you are right at - sounds ok on full volume on computer speakers, or ear phones, fine at about 7 on headphones.

Hmm...I'll have to up the volume. I'm messing with effect-compressor. Should I raise the level and submit it again??
