You might consider using the optional shortened intro beginning with either the second or third section.

I will "off the grid" some days this week so I might not get to the remaining completed sections for a few days.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am excited to have a dpl and I look forward to working with you.

I think I did switch to the shorter opening after the 1st section. I included it in section 01, thinking that readers might skip the preface.

I'm sort of off the grid myself at the moment, but I will make the change to section 01 as soon as I can.

Off to a great start. You might PM Anne to let her know that I will be the DPL. Then I will be able to edit the MW. If you edit your first post you can remove the ~ from before the book title to let others know that you are no longer looking for someone to pl the sections.

I finally have section 07 done! I had to record it twice because of some popping noises, but I think I've got it figured out now.

I didn't hear any pops either, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were fireworks, dogs, or cats in the background. The neighbors have six dogs! There may be an occasional "Cujo!", "Shasta!," "Cleopatra!," "Ripley!." The other two dogs must be less naughty because I haven't learned their names yet.

soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
