Commentary on the Gospel of John, Book 3, by Cyril of Alexandria (c. 376 - 444). Translated by Rev. Philip Edward Pusey ( - 1880)

This project is complete! All audio files are available on our catalog page:
https://librivox.org/commentary-on-the-gospel-of-john-book-3-by-cyril-of-alexandria/

Book 3 of Commentary on St John's Gospel covers John 5:35 - 6:37, as well as a look at the prophecy contained in Deut. 18:15-19. ( The Reader)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.tertullian.org/fathers/cyril_on_john_03_book3.htm
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I'll be very happy to MC this one too, Monaxi! Back later with your MW.

Edit: All set! I've changed the suggested file name to match Book 2; please adjust this as you like.

Thank you, Laurie Anne! I've mapped out the sections and I'll need 9 total. (I thought I could add sections myself, but now don't see how.)

I'm happy to add them for you! But do you want to try it yourself first? In the Section Compiler (where you add file links), there is an Add New Section button above the list of sections. When you click that button, a new line will appear above the list of sections; this line will have places to add Title, Reader, and Notes (which you can either fill in or leave blank). When you're ready, you can click the Add button next to these blanks and it will add a new section to the bottom of the list.
